CanTerra defines the product program, qualifies Canadian mills and confirms specification, availability, price basis and inspection. When terms are agreed, CanTerra purchases from the approved supplier under CanTerra purchase documentation.
CanTerra issues or signs the sales agreement with the verified buyer. Product, quantity, Incoterm, price, payment instrument, inspection, documents, shipment window, claims and offer validity are agreed with CanTerra as the seller and commercial counterparty.
CanTerra coordinates production status, inspection, packaging, load plan, export documents and freight milestones with the contracted parties. The transaction is managed through one accountable CanTerra commercial file.
CanTerra tracks document release and delivery milestones, resolves exceptions under the contract and uses shipment performance to plan repeat programs. Buyers and Canadian suppliers each deal with CanTerra—not with an anonymous contact list.
